Daniel Sharon is a seasoned actuary with extensive experience in the insurance industry. As a Principal and Practice Leader at Milliman since May 2018, Daniel co-founded the Tel Aviv office and provides actuarial consulting services to insurance companies in Israel. Previously, Daniel served as Chief Actuary and Senior Vice President at The Israeli Phoenix from August 2012 to February 2018, and held the position of Senior Actuary and Vice President at Harel Insurance from July 2005 to August 2012. Daniel’s career also includes a role as a Senior Actuary at Menora Mivtachim Group from May 2002 to June 2007, focusing on life and health products and profitability, along with reinsurance. Daniel earned a Bachelor of Science in Actuarial Science and Statistics from the University of the Witwatersrand between 1991 and 1993.
