David Kirk is an experienced consultant in the non-life and life insurance sectors, currently serving as the MD Africa at Milliman since November 2014. With a robust background in risk and capital management, David has worked extensively across Africa and the Middle East. Prior to Milliman, David held the position of Partner at KPMG, leading the actuarial practice in South Africa and contributing to significant projects including the FSB Economic Impact Study for Solvency Assessment & Management (SAM), risk modelling, and Internal Model validation. David also served as a Partner at PricewaterhouseCoopers, specializing in financial and management consulting for financial services companies. Additionally, David provided academic instruction in actuarial mathematics as a part-time lecturer at the Lebanese University and has experience in consulting for various financial organizations since 2000. David holds a BBusSci degree in Actuarial Science and Finance from the University of Cape Town.
