Erik Chen graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Financial Actuarial Mathematics from UCLA in June 2021, specializing in Computing. Currently, Erik works as an actuarial analyst for Milliman's health practice in Seattle and is set to take on the role of Associate Actuary in 2024. Previously, Erik held the position of Director of Internal Outreach for the Bruin Actuarial Society, where they developed online programs to enhance member engagement during remote learning. Erik also completed an internship at Milliman, where they utilized Excel and SQL to create tools that improved efficiency in hospital cost reporting.
