Harini Perera is an Actuarial Associate at Milliman since June 2023, contributing to the implementation of IFRS 17 for a Life Insurance company in Sri Lanka and performing Prophet based actuarial model validation for a client in Hong Kong. Prior to this role, Harini worked as a Junior Executive - Actuarial at HNB Assurance PLC from May 2021 to May 2023, where responsibilities included data checks and creation of model point files for valuation model runs, as well as conducting experience studies for assumption setting. Harini's professional journey began as an Actuary Intern at Actsure Lab from September 2020 to March 2021. Currently, Harini is pursuing a Master's degree in Actuarial Science at the University of Colombo, where a Bachelor of Science in Mathematical Finance was previously earned. Educational background also includes attendance at Devi Balika Vidyalaya from 2006 to 2014.
