Lance Tanel

Lance Tanel is a data scientist at Milliman, with experience that includes co-founding and serving as president of the UW-Eau Claire Data Analytics Association, where the focus is on empowering students in the data analytics field. Prior roles include tutoring students in math and physics at the UW Eau Claire Student Success Center and leading the UW Eau Claire Ski and Snowboard Club, which involved marketing, sponsorship acquisition, and event coordination. Lance also worked as a data analytics intern at Northwestern Mutual, where work involved analyzing large data sets and developing predictive models using machine learning algorithms. Lance holds a Bachelor of Science in Actuarial Science from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire.
