Mike Claffey

Mike Claffey is a seasoned Life Actuary with extensive experience in the actuarial field, currently serving as Principal at Milliman since October 2005, where responsibilities include overseeing the Solvency II Actuarial Function and conducting Independent Reviews. Prior to this role, Mike worked at AEGON Scottish Equitable International as a Finance Actuary from September 2003 to September 2005, focusing on Statutory Reporting, Embedded Value Reporting, and the oversight of Investment Administration and Unit Pricing. Mike began a career at Prudential International from July 1998 to September 2003, where contributions included Statutory and Embedded Value Reporting, business planning, and capital forecasting, as well as involvement in new market entries in Germany and France. Mike holds a Master of Science in Mathematical Science and a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Statistics, both obtained from the University of Galway.
