Sam Shellabarger

Sam Shellabarger is a Principal and Consulting Actuary at Milliman, with experience managing a diverse client base that includes health plans, integrated delivery systems, and provider groups, while specializing in Medicare, commercial, and ACA markets since September 2016. Prior experience includes serving as an Actuarial Analyst at Premera Blue Cross from June 2013 to September 2016, where responsibilities involved cost/benefit analysis, predictive modeling, risk adjustment, financial forecasting, and trend analysis. Earlier roles include an actuarial internship at Symetra, where project reporting and modeling were updated and organized, and serving as a Lab Monitor and Tutor at Washington State University, supporting students in introductory math courses.
