Samuel Sager

Samuel Sager is an experienced Actuarial Analyst at Milliman since June 2015, specializing in reserving and rate-making analyses for property and casualty insurance, particularly in medical professional liability, workers' compensation, and various commercial segments. Sager possesses expertise in modeling reserves for long-tailed lines of insurance, including black lung, asbestos, and pollution liabilities, while leading the black lung reserving team and developing innovative methodologies and models. Prior experience includes a role as a Casualty Actuarial Intern at Milliman, where Sager contributed to reserving and ratemaking studies across multiple insurance lines and assisted in the development of a mortgage scoring model. Sager holds a Bachelor's Degree in Actuarial Science, Risk Management, and Insurance from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
