Shamit Gupta

Shamit Gupta is a Principal and Consulting Actuary at Milliman since November 2010, bringing extensive experience in the actuarial field. Prior to this role, Shamit worked as an Actuarial Consultant at Towers Watson from January 2010 to November 2010 and at Watson Wyatt from 2006 to 2009. Shamit's career began with an actuarial internship at Max New York Life Insurance Co. Ltd in 2004. Education includes ongoing fellowships at the Institute of Actuaries of India and the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries, as well as a Bachelor of Science degree in Actuarial Science with a Concentration in Economics from The University of Texas at Austin, completed in 2005. Early education includes attendance at Vivek High School and St. John's High School in Chandigarh.
