Justin Smith

Justin Smith has a diverse work experience that includes roles in DevOps, system administration, and technical writing. Justin started their career as a Technical Writing Consultant, providing their services to various clients from 2009 to 2013. Justin then worked at PF/PCA as a System Administrator, where they modernized staff workflow, transitioned services to virtualization, and automated software management. Since 2016, they have been working at MIM Software Inc., initially as a System Administrator before transitioning to DevOps roles. In their current position as a Senior DevOps Engineer, they serve as a thought leader, develops asynchronous communication workflows, and plays a key role in the company's AWS infrastructure.

Justin Smith obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Information Systems from Westminster College (PA) from 2004 to 2008. In addition, they have obtained several certifications including Certified Budget Coach from YNAB in June 2023, GitLab Certified Associate from GitLab in July 2022, GitLab Certified CI/CD Specialist from GitLab Inc. in September 2020, and AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in March 2020.
