Amaad U.

Amaad U. is an experienced IT professional with a background in customer support and engineering, currently serving as the Global Services Lead Engineer at Mimecast since October 2021. Prior roles at Mimecast include Managed Services Engineer and Customer Support Associate. Prior to joining Mimecast, Amaad U. worked as an IT Support Technician at GamCo (PTY) LTD, where responsibilities included helpdesk support, mailbox creation, web hosting, and offsite/cloud backups. Previous experience also includes a brief stint as a salesperson at Vox Telecom and data analysis and entry at Med-Forum. Amaad U. holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Information Management from Damelin, complemented by secondary education from Silver Oaks International and the University of Cambridge.
