Douglas Queen

His passion is wounds, and this is probably why he has spent over 35 years of his working career in this space. This started during his PhD studies where he had to choose a research project. One that piqued his interest was the development of preclinical, laboratory-based tools to evaluate burn dressings. His interest was stimulated by both the subject matter and the fact that the wife of a friend had recently passed because of major burn injuries. This started his wound care journey and has driven his passion to help make a difference for those suffering from wounds.
