Today the personal care industry is striving to find natural ingredients that function as well as their synthetic counterparts. Minasolve™, together with its Pennakem (USA), both affiliates of the MINAFIN Group, has made great strides in this area by introducing A-Leen 5, a sugar cane bagasse based version of Pentylene Glycol. 
The ingredient has been granted EcoCert and COSMOS certifications in the EU and has received the Green Ingredient Silver Award at In-Cosmetics in 2014. This innovation allows customers to use a green variant of a well-known ingredient at a competitive price, without any formulation challenges. The high quality of A-Leen 5 was recognized by many cosmetic producers all over the world, including luxury brands. 
To fulfill the industry requirements, Minasolve™ is also currently launching ready to use solutions based on A-Leen 5™, with a strong focus on efficiency, based on preservation boosting and emollient properties. Accordingly, a new range of blends complying with cosmetic formulation principles has been developed and tested to meet the consumers'​ request for substituting conventional preservative (parabens, phenoxyethanol, MIT). These blends, based on the ingredient A-Leen 5™ allow responding to the diversity of situations that cosmetic formulators are facing.

Another range of innovative ingredients, such as multifunctional agents, brightening agent, and anti-aging, long-lasting cooling agent, anti-oxidant, is dedicated to answering the cosmetic market trends.

Minasolve also commits to providing expertise on sustainable production and eco-friendly processes, allowing to decrease the carbon footprint of personal care products without compromising on performance.
