Al Bowman

Al Bowman has over 12 years of experience in the public sector. Al began their career in 2009 with the British Army, where they served as Senior Risk and Lessons Advisor and Cyber Squadron Commander. In 2013, they earned an MA in Applied Security Strategy from the University of Exeter. In 2014, they were appointed as Director of the Army's Intelligence Centre. In 2016, they joined Deloitte as a Senior Manager and Associate Director, where they designed, built and led the Intelligence Services Centre. In 2020, they joined Dataminr as Director of International Public Sector Sales and Enterprise Account Manager. Al is currently Director of Government and Defence at Mind Foundry.

Al Bowman completed a Programme at the London Business School in 2021, focusing on The Business of AI. Al then obtained an MA from the University of Exeter in 2014, specializing in Applied Security Strategy. Prior to that, they completed an MSc from the Cranfield School of Management in 2013, with a focus on International Security.
