Nir Eisikovits is a Professor of Philosophy and the Director of the Applied Ethics Center at the University of Massachusetts Boston, where they focus on AI ethics and the ethics of war. They served as an Associate Professor and Director at UMass Boston from 2017 to 2022 and were also the Director of the Graduate Program in Ethics and Public Policy at Suffolk University from 2008 to 2017. Currently, Nir co-hosts the Prosthetic Gods Podcast, which engages in debates about the ethics of technology, and they serve as an AI Ethics Advisor for HOUR25.AI. Nir holds a PhD in Philosophy from Boston University, which they completed in 2005.
