Laurent Kersten

Laurent Kersten is an accomplished embedded software engineer with extensive experience spanning multiple companies and roles. Currently serving as an Embedded Software Engineer at Antwerp Space NV since March 2022, Laurent continues a project initiated in October 2020. Laurent also holds the position of Senior Embedded Software Architect within the Mind division of Essensium, focusing on low-level development and Linux kernel-oriented software, often on customer sites such as NXP and Thales. Previous roles include Senior Embedded Software Engineer and Embedded Software Architect at KLA, Sony Depthsensing Solutions, and Thales, as well as positions at several other technology firms. Laurent's expertise encompasses embedded Linux, kernel, network and driver issues, as well as the management of Yocto code sources and build servers. Laurent holds a Master’s degree in Computer Sciences from Université libre de Bruxelles.
