Ahmed Uddin

Ahmed Uddin has a diverse work experience that spans across various sectors and organizations. Ahmed has worked as a Senior Investment Lead at Mind, where they were responsible for delivering community-based funded programs and grants. Ahmed also worked at the British Red Cross as a Vaccination Outreach Manager and an Information Management Officer, where they played a crucial role in ensuring that vulnerable populations had access to vaccines and reliable information during the COVID-19 pandemic. Ahmed has also worked as a COVID-19 Coordinator at the Muslim Charities Forum, coordinating the response within the Muslim charitable sector in the UK. Additionally, Ahmed has experience as a Muslim Chaplain at the University of Portsmouth, as well as in roles such as Head of Programmes at Charity Right, Senior Project Officer at The Fostering Network, UK Programme Coordinator/Acting Head of Programmes at Islamic Relief UK, and Head of Programmes at National Zakat Foundation. Ahmed also worked as a Helpline Officer at Muslim Youth Helpline and as a Capacity Building Officer at Voluntary Action Westminster. Ahmed's work experience demonstrates their commitment to community support, humanitarian work, and addressing the specific needs of diverse populations.

Ahmed Uddin's education history begins with a Bachelor's Degree in Molecular Medicine from the University of Sussex, which they obtained from 2003 to 2006. After that, they pursued a Master's Degree in Global Politics at Birkbeck, University of London, from 2006 to 2008. In 2013 to 2014, Ahmed attended Harrow College and obtained a Certificate in English Language Teaching to Adults (CELTA) incorporating PTLLS, specializing in EFL/ESOL.

Ahmed's educational journey continued as they pursued higher studies at the University of Bradford. Currently, they are enrolled in the Faculty of Health Studies where they are pursuing a Master of Science in Social Sciences Research for Healthcare. Additionally, they are also pursuing a Ph.D. in Co-designing Mental Health Services.

Besides their academic qualifications, Ahmed has obtained certifications in AgilePM™ Foundation and AgilePM™ Practitioner from APMG International in August 2019.
