Rohit Vijayakumar

Rohit Vijayakumar has a diverse range of work experience in the field of brain computer interfaces and deep learning. Their most recent role is as a Research and Development Engineer at MindAffect, where they focus on brain computer interfaces. Prior to that, they worked as a Student Research Assistant at the Donders Institute for Brain, Cognition and Behaviour, where they also specialized in brain computer interfaces. In 2019, they were a Research intern at leadingindia.ai, where they focused on deep learning. Earlier in their career, they gained experience as an Intern in web development at Bestowal Infotechs and as an Intern at ThoughtLine Technologies.

Rohit Vijayakumar's education history begins in 2014 when they attended Loyola School Thiruvananthapuram and obtained their ICSE (Secondary Education) degree. In 2016, they enrolled at APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University and completed their Bachelor of Technology - BTech in Computer Science in 2020.

During their undergraduate studies, Rohit also pursued additional certifications to enhance their skills. In 2017, they obtained the certification for "6.00.1x: Introduction to Computer Science and Programming Using Python" from Massachusetts Institute of Technology | edX. In 2020, Rohit continued their education by pursuing a Master of Science - MS degree in Computer Science at Utrecht University. Rohit is expected to complete this degree in 2022. Simultaneously, they also enrolled in Udacity to pursue a Computer Vision Nanodegree, which is currently ongoing.

In 2021, Rohit obtained a certification in "Computational Neuroscience" from the University of Washington.
