Jordan Burness

Jordan Burness is an experienced clinical supervisor currently overseeing the Calgary Eating Disorder Program at Alberta Health Services since January 2022. In addition to this role, Jordan serves as a mental health therapist with Your Counselling Ltd and operates as an independent contractor with MindBeacon, providing online therapy using a structured CBT platform. Prior experience includes a range of roles within Alberta Health Services, including child and youth therapist, MSW mental health therapist, and medical social worker. Jordan also held positions as a registered social worker at Extendicare and program manager with Youth Empowerment and Support Services, with a focus on supporting at-risk youth and managing social work services. Educational credentials include a Master’s degree in Clinical Social Work from the University of Calgary and a Bachelor of Social Work from the University of Victoria.
