Ryan Ginard

Ryan Ginard, CFRE, currently serves as the Head of Advocacy for Effective Philanthropy at the Minderoo Foundation, a position held since October 2023. As the founder of Fundraise for Australia since December 2021, Ryan established a national fellowship program aimed at addressing professional fundraising challenges by nurturing emerging talent. Previous roles include Head of Advancement at The Australian National University, Director of Development at The University of Texas at Austin, Chief of Staff at National University, Director of Strategic Advancement at San Diego Grantmakers, Development Director at Access Youth Academy, and Manager of Charitable Giving at The San Diego Foundation. Ryan also has experience as Community Outreach Director at San Diego Flash and as a freelance journalist with San Diego Uptown News. Educational credentials include a Business degree from Queensland University of Technology and a Certificate in Fundraising Management from Indiana University Lilly Family School of Philanthropy.
