Sumit Dhal

Sumit Dhal has a diverse work experience in the field of technology and fashion. Sumit started their career as a Software Engineer, working on ASP.net projects. From 2009 to 2010, they served as a Team Lead for .Net technologies, managing a small team and collaborating with clients in various domains. Sumit then worked as an Engineering Lead for Adobe Technologies from 2010 to 2012, leading a team of 40+ developers and managing multiple projects for clients around the world. In 2013, Sumit became the Engineering and Operations Lead at Mindfire Solutions, where they were responsible for the growth and management of the development center in Bengaluru. Sumit later joined DateTheRamp as the Operations Lead, being part of the core team since its inception in 2015. In this role, they contributed to the growth of the members-only fashion service for women.

Sumit Dhal received their Bachelor of Engineering degree in Information Technology from the College of Engineering, Bhubaneswar, Utkal University in the years 2001 to 2005. Sumit then pursued their Master of Science degree in Software Systems from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani from 2006 to 2008.
