Tom Bale is an experienced Rails Engineer currently working at Mindful Chef since September 2025. Previously, Tom held various positions at Ryalto from May 2021 to August 2025, including Lead Developer and Senior Back End Developer, where significant contributions were made to the redevelopment of Ryalto V4. Tom also worked as a Back End Developer at Ryalto, focusing on maintaining and enhancing the Ryalto App's code base. Prior to Ryalto, Tom was a Web Developer at focusgov from August 2017 to April 2021, creating bespoke websites and applications using a variety of technologies. Early career experience includes completing a Junior Web Developer internship. Tom completed a Full-stack Web Development Bootcamp at DevelopMe in 2017 and holds certifications from freeCodeCamp in full-stack web development, as well as qualifications in business and sports science from other institutions.
