Katherine Li

Katherine Li is a dedicated Computer Science and Immersive Media Design student at the University of Maryland, expected to graduate in May 2025. Currently serving as a Teaching Assistant for courses in Algorithms and Discrete Structures, Katherine has also gained practical experience as a Software Engineer Intern at GEICO, focusing on Site Reliability Engineering. Previous roles include a Research Intern in the Neuromorphic Computing Group at the U.S. Army DEVCOM Army Research Laboratory, where Katherine contributed to modeling neural network dynamics, as well as a Technical Consultant with TAMID Group, providing software development support for tech startups. Katherine's academic background is further enriched by prior experience as a Research Assistant in the Computational Cognitive Neuroscience & Psychiatry Lab, where Katherine modeled information processing related to learning and memory.
