Robert Van Engelen

Robert Van Engelen is currently a Board Member at Mindlogicx. Prior to that, they were Interim Acting CTO at NewSci, LLC from July 2014 to August 2016. There, they worked on data analytics platform development with Apache Hadoop, R, IBM BigInsights, IBM Watson, and Tableau. Robert also served as a Technical Advisor at PointCatcher from June 2014 to May 2016.

From May 2014 to August 2017, they were a Mentor at Domi Ventures, LLC, where they gave individual mentoring services and technical assistance to entrepreneurs at Domi Station. Domi Station is the largest incubator and co-working space in Tallahassee, established by Domi Ventures LLC, the Leon County Research and Development Authority, Florida State University, Florida Agricultural & Mechanical University, and by local companies.

In addition to their work at NewSci and Domi Ventures, Van Engelen has also served as a Technical Advisor at Cuttlesoft from March 2014 to August 2016; Benefit Service Company from March 2014 to February 2015; LobbyQ from January 2014 to January 2016; and SoFitU from April 2012 to April 2014.

Robert Van Engelen has a PhD in Informatica from Leiden University, a BS and MS in Wiskunde en Informatica from Utrecht University, and a VWO Atheneum from Strabrecht College. Robert also has a high school diploma from Vrije School Brabant.
