David Feifel

Principal Investigator - LSD For Anxiety Study

David Feifel, MD, PhD, is an accomplished psychiatrist and neurobiologist currently serving as the Founder and President of Kadima Neuropsychiatry Institute since March 2017, where innovative treatments for neuropsychiatric conditions are developed. Feifel holds the position of Professor Emeritus at the University of California, San Diego - School of Medicine, having contributed to the field since 1995. As an expert faculty member with the American Society of Ketamine Physicians, Psychotherapists and Practitioners, Feifel is actively involved in research as a Principal Investigator for various studies focused on psilocybin, 5MeO DMT, LSD, and arketamine for treatment-resistant depression. Notable roles also include membership on the Board of Directors for the Clinical TMS Society and participation in key task forces within the National Network of Depression Centers, fostering collaboration to advance care for depressive illnesses. Feifel's educational background includes an MD and PhD in Medicine and Neurobiology from the University of Toronto and a Psychiatry Residency at UC San Diego.
