Joel Young, MD, is a Clinical Associate Professor in the Department of Family Medicine and Public Health Sciences as well as Psychiatry at Wayne State University since January 2008. As the Cofounder and Chief Medical Officer of MedaData and MindMetrix, Young is dedicated to advancing psychiatric research and providing comprehensive assessment services. Young also serves as the Medical Director and Founder of the Rochester Center for Behavioral Medicine, overseeing clinician activities and specializing in mood and anxiety disorders, chronic fatigue syndrome, fibromyalgia, binge eating disorders, substance use disorders, and ADHD. Educational credentials include a Doctor of Medicine from Wayne State University School of Medicine, a Psychiatry Residency, and a Bachelor of Arts in History with High Distinction from the University of Michigan.
