Dan Montgomery

Dan Montgomery, CPA has extensive work experience spanning over two decades. Dan currently holds the position of VP of Finance at MindPlay since March 2022. Prior to that, they served as the Director of Finance and Business Analytics at El Rio Community Health Center from February 2018 to March 2022, where they successfully implemented initiatives to improve financial health, operational performance, and profitability.

Before joining El Rio Community Health Center, Dan worked at Intel Corporation, starting as a Graduate Finance Intern in May 2012, then progressing to Finance Manager in June 2013. In their role as Finance Manager, they led FP&A operations for a large organization, overseeing a budget of $200M and implementing analysis initiatives that drove strategic investment decisions.

Dan's earlier work experience includes being a Partner at Lucky Star Properties from November 2005 to January 2011, an Audit Manager at Brink's Inc from 2002 to 2005, and a Senior Auditor at Arthur Andersen & Co. from 1999 to 2002. Dan also gained early experience as an intern at Deloitte & Touche in 1998.

Throughout their career, Dan Montgomery has demonstrated their expertise in financial management, strategic planning, budgeting, and data analysis. Dan'scontributions have resulted in significant improvements in organizational performance and financial outcomes.

Dan Montgomery, CPA completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Finance at Texas Christian University - M.J. Neeley School of Business from 2011 to 2013. During the same period, they also pursued a Master of Science in Information Technology & Management (MS ITM) at Naveen Jindal School of Management, UT Dallas. Prior to their postgraduate studies, Dan attended Northeastern State University, where they studied Accounting. In addition to their education, they have obtained the certification of Certified Public Accountant from the Oklahoma Accountancy Board.
