Andrew Wright

Andrew Wright is an experienced professional with a diverse background in education and support services for neurodivergent individuals. Currently serving as the Transitions Service Team Leader at Salvesen Mindroom Centre since November 2023, Andrew focuses on facilitating the transition to adulthood for neurodivergent young people. Prior to this role, Andrew held positions at the same organization, including Supported Work Placement Specialist and Consultant. Experience also encompasses management and development roles at Island Retreats Ltd, where responsibilities included overseeing operations and community engagement, as well as serving as Lay Chaplain at the Church of St John the Evangelist, where Andrew fostered relationships with children and families. Additional experience includes staff coordination at the Iona Community, teaching at Saltburn Primary School, and managing multicultural playgroups for Cleveland County Council. Andrew holds a Bachelor of Education from Leicester Polytechnic and A-levels from Sir William Turner's VI Form College.
