David Fraser

David Fraser has a diverse and extensive work experience in design and creative management. David is currently working as the Lead Product Designer at MindsDB since June 2021. Prior to that, they worked as a UX/UI Designer at Float Colab starting from May 2014.

David also has experience working at Matillion as a Senior User Experience Designer from November 2020 to June 2021. Before that, they were the Lead User Experience Designer at Lloyd's Register for over two years, from April 2018 to March 2020. In this role, they introduced a design-led process and facilitated Design Thinking workshops to enhance product features and align business stakeholders. David also worked on product design for the innovation hub, collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve product-market fit.

In addition, David worked as a UX/UI Designer on a contract basis at Winter Circle in 2017, where they optimized the user experience of an executive search web platform. David served as the Creative Manager at Mearns & Gill from August 2012 to April 2014, overseeing digital branding projects and managing a team of designers.

David's earlier experiences include working as a Freelance Creative Producer at Turner Broadcasting System, Inc, where they produced promotional content for Cartoon Network, and as a Post Production Manager at Double Take Studios, where they managed a creative team and coordinated projects.

David began their career as a Junior Art Director, first at Saatchi & Saatchi from March 2009 to June 2009, and then at VCCP from December 2008 to February 2009, where they worked on various advertising projects.

David Fraser has a diverse education history. In 2018, they obtained a Professional Certificate in Interaction Design Specialty and UX Research Specialty from the Nielson Norman Group. Prior to that, from 2007 to 2008, they pursued a Post-graduate diploma in Creative Writing and Art Direction at West Herts College in Watford. David earned a BA (Hons) degree in Graphic Design from Kingston University from 2001 to 2004. Additionally, in 2000, they completed a BTEC degree in Design and Applied Arts at Warwickshire College. David's earliest education can be traced back to their time at North Leamington School from 1995 to 2000, but no specific degree or field of study information is available for this period. In September 2018, David also obtained the Nielsen Norman Group User Experience (UX) Master Certificate.
