Ian Unsworth

Ian Unsworth has over 10 years of work experience in business development and marketing. Ian began their career in 2010 as a Business Analyst/Project Manager at Just-Eat Group. In 2011, they moved to Cabfix as a Product and Marketing Lead, where they were responsible for product management, customer acquisition and retention, and B2B marketing and sales. In 2013, they co-founded Tank Top TV as COO, where they developed discovery, personalisation and analytics technology for Video On-Demand and OTT TV services. In 2015, they joined Lean Forward Ltd as Head of Marketing, where they had ultimate responsibility for marketing strategy, direction and performance, customer acquisition strategy, and retention strategy. In 2019, they held the role of Head of Marketing at both The Rocket Marketing Group and Dine. In 2020, they joined Partnership Leaders as a Member and Hive HR as a Partner Manager. Currently, they are a Business Development Manager at MindsDB, where they enable sophisticated machine learning at the data layer using simple SQL.

Ian Unsworth completed a Master of Science (MSc) in Technology Entrepreneurship at UCL from 2009 to 2010. Prior to that, they received a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in International Business with French from Sheffield Hallam University from 2004 to 2008.
