Why did we name our business Mindset Wealth? From all of our many years as advisors, we’ve worked with many clients that come from varied professions, educational backgrounds and income levels. What we’ve concluded is that the common element to creating and maintaining wealth is how you THINK about money. Wealthy thinking forms wealthy habits, and thus forming wealthy outcomes.

A mindset is all about taking what you have already and further developing it through thorough planning, effective coaching, constant dedication and using the right tools. A clear mindset is essential in achieving greater accomplishments, whether it is in business, sports, relationships or investing. It’s not what happens that matters, it’s how you behave that matters.

Canadians need to make a personal commitment to take responsibility for their financial future. You need to buy into the idea that you are in charge of looking after your retirement — not the government, not your employer: it’s you and your advisor.
