Srikar Vema

Srikar Vema is an accomplished cybersecurity professional with significant experience in strategic planning and execution of security initiatives. Currently serving as Director at Mindshield and Security Architect - AI at One New Zealand since June 2025, Srikar has a strong background in governance, risk, and compliance, particularly in cloud, identity, and AI security. Previous roles include Security Governance Risk and Architecture Specialist at Spark New Zealand, where Srikar was instrumental in advancing cybersecurity strategies, and Security Consultant at Aura Information Security, leading workshops and mentoring junior consultants. As a Cyber Security Consultant at EY, Srikar contributed to successful Identity and Access Management projects and SOC2 assessments. Srikar is a founding member of the Operations and Supply Chain Club at the University of Auckland and holds a Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems and Operations and Supply Chain Management from the same institution.
