The Mindful Nature Therapy approach we develop and deepen, considers the human being as a natural being, with whom to develop the art of listening and connecting. Here something magical happens: the listening skills that nature teaches us pour into our human relationships, bringing more harmony into our lives and more ability to communicate with others.
Nature is the real trainer within this path. I believe that learning to experience nature and in nature does not only mean scientific knowledge, but that it means first of all entering into a deep connection with it (Biophilia). It is essential to learn to listen, even before learning the language of nature; awaken in us sensory perceptive and attention capacities, to the point of refining a capacity for contact with nature that brings out a wisdom that is not rational but intuitive, that which resides in the wild. Changing rhythm: the Mindful Nature Therapy approach projects into a slower temporal dimension, that of the tree, in which every small gesture requires awareness and presence, where one can gradually abandon the hasty distraction of current daily life, to rediscover and regain attentive presence in the moment here I am.
the group is a huge resource in our trainings, as long as we know how to connect positively and actively with others. Nature teaches us that survival alone is difficult, if not impossible in some cases: from this teaching we grasp the need to re-learn the sense of belonging and the strength of union, virtues often weakened by the individualistic and competitive culture.
