An experienced practitioner helping you get it right, by providing risk-derived, context-driven solutions, tailored to your needs.

The security risks and challenges for extractive companies are indeed multifaceted and extend well beyond physical security measures like gate passes and fences. These risks can have significant consequences, not only in terms of potential theft, fraud, and reputational damage but also legal repercussions, individual accountability, and broader impacts on employees, local communities, stakeholders, and investor confidence. The ability to operate can also be jeopardised.

Mine Right can assist you with conducting initial baseline security and security related human rights risk assessments and stakeholder engagement; developing Implementation Plans, including training packages; verification of compliance with the various international initiatives; and investigating a range of security related issues.

Contributing to our success is the understanding of the necessity to engage with external stakeholders and communities to properly understand the broader and negative impacts an operation could be having, especially where there are real or perceived impacts on human rights and social issues.
