Guy Fliess

Guy Fliess is an accomplished software engineer with extensive experience in backend development and machine learning. Currently serving as the Backend Group Manager and Software Engineer at MineOS since November 2019, Fliess is committed to promoting data ownership and user control over digital footprints. Prior to this role, Fliess held various positions at Microsoft from May 2012 to November 2019, including Backend Team Lead and Software Engineer on the Recommendations team, where contributions were made to a cutting-edge machine-learning recommendations system benefiting hundreds of millions of users. Fliess also played a key role in the development of the Power BI Mobile app for both iOS and Windows platforms. Fliess holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science with Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Tel Aviv University, completed in 2014.
