Minergy is an emerging coal mining company committed to becoming the supplier of choice to all coal consumers across southern Africa. The company owns 100% of the 390Mt Masama Coal Project in Botswana, located 50km north of Gabarone. Minergy plans to build a 2.4Mtpa ROM opencast coal mine during 2018, focusing on delivering coal to the regional market, including Botswana and South Africa. The company is listed on the Botswana Stock Exchange, and plans to list on the Alternative Investment Market (AIM) in the UK during the latter part of 2018.
