Jonathan Powers

Jonathan Powers, Ph.D., is a passionate educator and thought leader who currently serves as a Professor of Arts & Humanities at Minerva University. With extensive teaching experience across diverse disciplines, Jonathan is committed to creating inclusive and transformative learning environments that foster curiosity and deep understanding. They have held various roles in academia, including Academic Director at the Thomas More Institute and Professor of Humanities at Champlain College. Jonathan's research interests focus on the history of the liberal arts and humanities, the future of higher education, and the relationship between creativity and teaching. Additionally, Jonathan's entrepreneurial spirit was evident early on as a newspaper distribution representative for major publications.
