Lene Jessen is an accomplished professional in the field of pharmacology and drug development, currently serving as the Chief Development Officer at Minerva Imaging since September 2022, where responsibilities include leading a large research team and managing internal development projects. Prior experience includes a role as Department Manager at Novo Nordisk, overseeing an in vivo pharmacology department, and significant positions at SNIPR Biome and Zealand Pharma, focusing on in vivo pharmacology and strategic project leadership. Lene began an academic career as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Cincinnati and holds a Master of Science degree in Pharmacology from the University of Copenhagen.

Minerva Imaging is a contract research organization specializing in molecular imaging services for accelerated and efficient drug development. We help our clients to reduce the cost and risk of drug development by incorporating preclinical imaging early in the process. In collaboration with our clients we design and conduct tailored molecular imaging protocols to i.e measure drug on target effects, eliminate dead end compounds, and increase the value of lead drug candidates. We facilitate clinical testing and design of adaptive clinical trials using molecular imaging to increase the speed of clinical testing.
