Admissions Processor at Minerva Project

Asir A. has a varied work experience. In 2016, they worked as a trainee at the Bangladesh Atomic Energy Commission under the chief scientific officer, Dr. Mizanur Rahman, and had hands-on experience of working with a nuclear reactor. In 2017, they worked as an Admissions Processor at Minerva Project and was also the President of Students for the Exploration and Development of Space (SEDS), Minerva Schools Chapter. In this role, they established the Minerva Schools Chapter of SEDS-Minerva for the Class of 2021 and led the students of Minerva schools at KGI towards experiences related to astrophysics and aeronautics. Asir also led a team of 5 to Washington, DC for lobbying about space policies in the US Senate. In 2018, they worked as a Research Assistant at Seoul National University, where they were the only International member in the group and worked on the project to transcribe the methods and processes in English. Asir also worked hands-on in the Molecular Beam Epitaxy labs.

Asir A. completed a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Natural Sciences and Computational Sciences at Minerva University from 2017 to 2021. Prior to that, they attended Academia School from 2015 to 2017, obtaining A levels. Asir also attended St. Joseph Higher Secondary School from 2007 to 2015, earning a Secondary School Certificate in the Science Group. In addition, Asir A. obtained a certification from the WorldOrganization of the Scouts Movement in July of 2015 for the World Scout Jamboree in Japan.
