Julia Wunderlich has worked in various roles and industries since 2008. Julia began their career as an Intern at Ligalux GmbH in 2008, followed by Internships at Kerstin Engholm Galerie and secession - Association of Visual Artists in 2010. In 2011, they interned at Hauser & Wirth, and was later hired as a Project Manager & Artist Liaison in 2012. During their time at Hauser & Wirth, they also acted as an Artist Liaison in Zurich and London (maternity cover) and an Archivist. In 2019, they began working as a Project Manager I Environment I CSR I Plastics I Impact at their own company, julia wunderlich. Most recently, in 2021, they took on the role of Project & Impact Manager at MING Labs.

Julia Wunderlich has a diverse educational background. From 2011 to 2012, they attended Goldsmiths, University of London, where they earned a Master of Arts in Contemporary Art Theory. From 2007 to 2010, they attended Zeppelin University, Friedrichshafen, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Cultural Management. In 2010, they also completed a semester abroad at Akademie der bildenden Künste Wien, where they studied Art History. In 2019 and 2020, they completed complementary studies at the University of Cape Town, focusing on Becoming a Changemaker: Introduction to Social Innovation. Finally, in 2020, they completed complementary studies at SDA Bocconi, focusing on Corporate Sustainability. Additionally, Julia has obtained several certifications, including Sustainable Business Strategy from Harvard Business School Online in 2021, ITEMO SCRUM Master & Product Owner (Foundation) from TÜV SÜD in 2021, and Becoming a changemaker: Introduction to Social Innovation (with Honors) from Coursera in 2020.
