Jason Richards

Jason Richards has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Jason is the Founder and CEO of Minga, a company they established in 2018. In 2019, they became the Co-Founder of Freshfield Naturals, Inc., where they aim to build a community focused on living a healthy and active lifestyle. Jason also served as an Entrepreneur in Residence at Okanagan College from 2019 to 2020. Prior to this, Jason worked as a Firefighter at West Kelowna Fire Rescue from 2014 to 2018. In addition to these roles, they have also held positions as Lead Investor & Advisor at Bananatag, Chief Mo at Mo-Gro.com, and SVP Business Development at Procera Networks. Jason has a background in technology and business, having founded Vineyard Networks, a company specializing in Deep Packet Inspection and Network Intelligence solutions. Jason served as the President of the Okanagan Science and Technology Council, where they worked on fostering a thriving technology community. Jason is also the Founder and Chairman of the Board at Accelerate Okanagan, an organization supporting the growth of technology-focused businesses.

Jason Richards attended The University of British Columbia from 1994 to 1999, where they obtained a BSc degree in Physics.
