Albert Read is the Non-Executive Chairman of the Evening Standard and has extensive experience in the publishing industry, having served as the Managing Director of Condé Nast Britain from 2017 to 2024. Previously, they held various roles at Condé Nast Publications, including General Manager and Asia Pacific Business Director. Albert holds a Bachelor of Arts and MA in Classics from the University of Oxford and an MBA from INSEAD. They are also a Bain External Advisor, a Senior Advisor at the Milken Institute, and the author of "The Imagination Muscle."
