Jorge Lima has a diverse work experience in the UI/UX design field. Jorge started their career at B. Braun Medical as a Digital Designer in 2004, where they worked until August 2010.
Following that, they joined TV Globo as a UI/UX Designer in September 2010 and stayed until September 2015. In this role, they were responsible for creating wireframes, layouts, and prototypes for web and mobile applications, as well as developing front-end designs using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Next, they worked at Gazeus Games as a Senior Product Designer from September 2015 to October 2018. Here, they gained experience in implementing UX processes, including information architecture, wireframing, user personas, visual design, prototyping, and user testing. Jorge also developed front-end designs for Android, iOS, and multi-platform applications.
Currently, Jorge is employed at Miniclip, where they started in November 2018 as a Senior UI/UX Designer and later promoted to Lead UI/UX Designer in March 2021. No end dates are specified for their roles at Miniclip, indicating that they are still actively working there.
Jorge Lima's education history begins in 2003 when they started their Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design at Universidade da Cidade. Jorge completed this program in 2007. In 2009, Jorge pursued a Master's Degree in Digital Design from Instituto Infnet, which they completed in 2010. Later, from 2014 to 2016, they attended Instituto Infnet again, this time for a Master's Degree in Mobile Development with a focus on Design and Visual Communication.
In addition to their formal education, Jorge also obtained several certifications. In November 2017, they obtained the Interaction South America certification from IxDA. Additionally, in May 2017, they completed the Design Principles: an Introduction course from Coursera. Lastly, in March 2017, they achieved certification in Human-Centered Design, also from Coursera.
