minimalisma is a high-quality children’s and women's wear brand with a strong Nordic heritage, designed in Switzerland. Founded by Maja Akraberg, the mission is to create beautiful, timeless pieces crafted from premium natural materials - made to be cherished, shared, and passed on to future generations.

The inspiration comes from the designers' upbringing on a remote archipelago in the North Atlantic Ocean — a childhood unspoilt, where nature was the playground and clothes were lovingly knitted by her mother. This heritage continues to shape minimalisma’s philosophy: a deep respect for simplicity, quality, and sustainability.

What began in 2012 as a small unisex baby collection and a local webshop has since grown into an international brand offering styles for newborns, children up to 14 years, and women. Today, minimalisma is sold in more than 40 countries worldwide - a reflection of its enduring Nordic roots and refined Swiss design.
