The Mining Exchange Hotel is where Colorado history and modern hospitality converge. Originally built in 1902 to house the region’s mining stock exchange, our reimagined 128-room boutique hotel is a tribute to the wild souls who struck gold at Pikes Peak and built Colorado Springs into a city of triumph and possibility.

Today, The Mining Exchange stands as both landmark and living room for the community. This is a place where locals and travelers gather to exchange ideas, stories, and experiences. Set in the heart of downtown, the hotel blends timeless architecture with contemporary design, offering guests a unique balance of heritage and sophistication.

From morning coffee at BLK MGK to high-craft cocktails at Golden Hour, and wine and pasta at Oro, our restaurants and bars reflect the spirit of independence, creativity, and connection. Flexible meeting and event spaces combine historic character with modern amenities, making The Mining Exchange an ideal setting for business meetings and celebrations.

More than a hotel, The Mining Exchange is a hub of culture and community. It’s a sanctuary for respite, a stage for triumph, and a celebration of everything that makes Colorado Springs one of the West's most dynamic destinations.
