Steven Porter serves as the IPSC Project Manager at MMD Design & Consultancy since April 2012, overseeing the tender, design, manufacture, and installation of In Pit Sizing and Conveying systems. Prior roles at MMD include Mobile Equipment Designer, Technical Design Draughtsman, CAD Draughtsman, and Plater/Welder, where significant experience was gained in the design and fabrication of mobile and semi-mobile equipment. Earlier career experience includes working as a Plater/Welder at Lindhurst Engineering and as a cycle mechanic at Halfords. Steven holds multiple qualifications in Mechanical Engineering, Business Improvement, and Fabrication and Welding from various institutions, including Vision West Nottinghamshire College and Leicester College.
