Steve Rempel

Steve Rempel, P.Eng, is a motivated Professional Mining Engineer with over ten years of experience in the mining industry. Currently serving as the Manager of Mining Engineering for North America at Mining One Consultants, Steve has a strong background in project management and autonomous mine operations. Prior experience includes roles as Mine Operations Manager for Nhwelmen-lake (Elk Gold Mine), Project Manager and Application Specialist at Finning, and Senior Mine Engineer for KGHM International, where Steve conducted various strategic studies and evaluations. With a Bachelor of Applied Science in Mining and Mineral Process Engineering from The University of British Columbia and earlier studies at Thompson Rivers University, Steve has consistently leveraged technology to improve mining efficiencies and safety throughout a diverse career in mining engineering.
