William Gibson

William Gibson is a seasoned geotechnical engineering professional with extensive experience spanning several decades. Currently serving as the Principal Geotechnical Engineer and Numerical Modelling Specialist at Mining One Consultants since November 2023, William has held various leadership positions, including Principal Geotechnical Engineer at AMC Consultants from January 2019 to October 2023, and a Corporate Consultant at SRK Consulting from March 2013 to December 2018. William's early career includes roles at SRK Consulting and ITASCA Chile, where experience was gained in multiple regions, including Chile, the USA, and Australia. William holds a Master of Science in Geotechnical Engineering from the University of Colorado Boulder and an Engineer degree in Civil Engineering from Universidad de Concepción, where also served as a lecturer in Structural Civil Engineering.
