Christopher Zegarac, P.Eng, is a seasoned mining professional with experience spanning over several years in the industry. Currently serving as a Senior Mining Consultant at Mining Plus since January 2020, Christopher previously held roles at Newmont Goldcorp Corporation as a Mine Planner from May 2017 to January 2020, contributing to long-term and strategic planning initiatives. Early career experience includes working as a Junior Short-Range Planner at Goldcorp from June 2014 to June 2015, where responsibilities involved the planning of new headings and longhole stopes utilizing computer-aided design software. Christopher Zegarac holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Mining and Mineral Engineering from Queen's University and successfully passed CFA Level 1 in Finance through the CFA Institute in 2018.
