Ravind Kumar has had an extensive career in technical writing and business analysis. In 2009, they began as a Building Lead at Student Center & Event Services. In 2011, they became a Technical Writer at Phunware, Inc., where they prepared and created user-facing documentation for the PRAISE Mobile as a Service infrastructure for iOS and Android. In 2013, they joined OTC Global Holdings LP as a Technical Writer and Business Analyst, where they researched, designed, and created documentation including internal Policy/Procedure documents, Functional Specifications, UML-based Diagrams, Audit/Testing requirements, and application wireframes. In 2015, they joined MongoDB as a Senior Technical Writer, where they were primarily responsible for documentation on the MongoDB Server product and related tooling, with a focus on sharding, security, and replication. In 2020, they joined MinIO as a Lead Technical Writer and Curriculum Engineering Resource, where they are creating next-generation documentation for MinIO Object Storage, with a strong focus on the MinIO Kubernetes Operator and Plugin.
Ravind Kumar graduated from UC Irvine in 2011 with a Bachelor of Arts in Literary Journalism. Prior to that, they attended Diamond Bar High School from 2003 to 2007.
